The title of International Truck of the Year 2026 goes to the DAF XD Electric and XF Electric. 🚛⚡ This is the third award for the Dutch brand in five years. Twenty-four journalists from across Europe were impressed by their energy efficiency and drivetrain. But is the jury's verdict really in step with the actual needs of the market? 🤔

Let's be honest — choosing an electric vehicle is no longer a surprise, but rather a new "norm". 📉 Manufacturers go to great lengths to enter electric trucks in competitions, hoping a prestigious title will finally help "kick-start sales" of these vehicles. The same happened last year with the Mercedes eActros 600 and two years before that with the Volvo FH Electric.
