Thanks to DSLocate, I can monitor the number of kilometres driven and speed violations on a daily basis. My dispatchers and distributors can check the vehicle position in real time, and customers have access to route preview. DSLocate also allows me to supervise refuelling - I can compare DKV invoices with the amount of fuel poured from CAN.
Just yesterday I reported a fuel theft at a Circle K station in Tarnowskie Gory to the police. The driver was regularly refuelling other vehicles using a DKV card at a self-service station. As evidence, I presented data from Data System showing that my vehicle was not at that location during the refuelling and that the CAN fuel level had not changed.
Vehicle location history also helped us defend against undeserved fines or collisions. Several times the insurer tried to attribute a claim to our third-party liability, and we proved that our vehicle was not at the collision site at the time. All thanks to DSLocate!

Regarding the application itself and its functionality, I can say it is very intuitive and easy to use. One of the most important benefits for us as a user is remote and automatic tachograph readout. We also have quick insight into tachograph statuses, which gives us knowledge of how many breaks and pauses our driver has taken. Another important feature is the logbook report, which allows automatic vehicle records to be kept. We know which routes the vehicle took, where it went from and to, how far it travelled and who was driving. This report also calculates travel costs according to the rate per kilometre.
Another essential feature of the DSLocate system is the unlimited route history. We called it the "black box" of the car, because it has served as evidence on multiple occasions.
The system also has a number of other solutions that are applicable in our transport industry, but they cannot all be described in this short review.
