According to officials, the app is intended to put pressure on car park and company owners to improve working conditions for drivers. "Drivers will finally have a voice," say enthusiasts.

Every day in Europe there are shortages of thousands — in total hundreds of thousands — of lorry parking spaces. Car parks are full, and drivers are often forced to stop in random locations. An app will not create new rest areas — what is needed here is real investment and public, free car parks that keep pace with the growth of transport.
