e-Toll
In June 2021, the e-TOLL toll collection system was launched on state sections of toll roads. E-TOLL is a modern solution based on satellite positioning technology that replaced the ViaTOLL system. The change covers users of vehicles or vehicle combinations with a maximum permissible weight of more than 3.5 tons and buses.
The Ministry of Finance announced that entrepreneurs who will incur costs related to acquiring a device for the e-TOLL system will be able to deduct from their income the costs of purchasing or leasing devices and their maintenance, e.g. subscription fees, incurred in 2021. The maximum amount of the allowance is 500 PLN (net) for each taxpayer's vehicle who made a trip in 2021 and paid for it electronically.
All GPS trackers by Data System Group have been certified by the Head of the National Revenue Administration and can be used to settle toll roads in Poland in the e-Toll system. See the KAS certificate.
